Henrik owns Effektiv Förmögenhetsforvaltning, Connectum’s Tied Agent in Sweden where he has provided investment advice to Connectum’s Swedish-based and Swedish-speaking clients since 2014.

Henrik gained his first degree in engineering physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He has also studied Business Administration, Economics and Russian at Stockholm University and Uppsala University.

Between 1998 and 2012 Henrik was responsible for various tasks related to fund management and institutional discretionary mandates at Öhman Fonder, a Swedish mutual fund management company based in Stockholm. He has worked as an analyst, fund manager for both equity and balanced funds, responsible for the whole Öhman range of passively managed funds, and been responsible for portfolio construction and asset allocation for both mutual funds and institutional clients. Alongside this, he has also been Vice President and Managing Director of the fund management company.

Given his mathematical background and long experience in fund and asset management, it is easy for Henrik to analyse complex financial instruments and sophisticated management strategies. Despite that, he has arrived at the conclusion that what is most important is to have clear goals, a sound plan to achieve them, the discipline to follow the plan and to implement it efficiently.

In addition to his work at Effektiv Förmögenhetsforvaltning Henrik is a director of ISEC Services, a Swedish fund company and of the Swedish Outdoor Pursuits Association. He is a member of the CFA Institute.

When not spending time with his family he reads a lot. He is also happy outdoors – preferably anywhere on or near the water. Boats of all types have always been a great interest, especially sailing boats and kayaks. When the sea and lakes freeze, he turns his attention to snowboarding and long distance ice-skating.
