Tom Collett

Tom has worked in the family office arena for 25 years – with the longest current client relationship spanning 15 years. He focuses on a holistic approach to taking care of his clients’ needs using extensive experience balancing asset classes as well as assisting in setting up and organizing the most appropriate structures for his clients’ affairs. Tom has extensive boardroom experience, having represented clients in the governing bodies of several successful startup companies – including two commercial banks, real estate, and telecoms. In addition he was one of the instigators in the establishment of the Norwegian Certified Financial Analyst program nearly 25 years ago.

Having worked with Connectum for a number of years and sharing values as to how best to serve our clients, Tom merged his business with Connectum in 2008 and joined the company as a Partner.

When not thinking about his clients’ interests, Tom is a proud father of 3 and uses considerable time as chairman of a very special school www.ljabruskolen.no that accepts pupils aged 6-20 yrs with special learning needs. A keen hunter, he shoots ptarmigan in the fall and practises on clay pigeons during summer, and his background as a former submarine and naval reserve officer has sparked an interest in defense related issues which he pursues as a board member of Institutt for Forsvarsopplysning.
